Why We Built It

Most online file converters have a dirty secret: your files get uploaded to a server you don't control, processed by someone else's machine, and sometimes stored for longer than you'd expect. For sensitive files like bank statements, contact databases, or private notebooks, this is a genuine privacy risk. We built ConvertPivot to prove that file conversion can be both powerful and private — no uploads, no accounts, no limits.

Our Technology

Every tool on ConvertPivot is built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There is no backend server, no database, no cloud processing. Complex conversions like HEIC decoding, PDF parsing, and GPS data processing are handled by WebAssembly modules that run at near-native speed in your browser. This architecture means the site has zero server costs, zero data collection, and zero privacy trade-offs.
